Gap In Services
With a severe gap in social service or community outreach assistance and advocacy programs—due to a lack of funding—in our "Hot spot" urban core community, many of these individuals would revert to criminal activity to get the necessary resources they need to solve their problems, if not for our outreach services to help resolve, facilitate or navigate their issues. The lack of social services and funding agencies, mental health state or local funds, intense crime bell zones, homelessness, higher utility rates and bills, and low job availability affect this hot spot zone significantly.
Individuals have nowhere to turn for assistance or do not know where to turn. We provide them this crucial assistance. Without our help, many of the individuals we serve would find an illegal way to try and make their problems/issues go away.
