Crime Tips & Hotlines
|Call 9-1-1 For Emergencies & If A Crime Is In Progress!|
Tips are essential to solving crimes. The information you provide by calling a phone number on this page—or using the online options available via the links—could save lives.
Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers
Crime Stoppers is a non-profit community organization—not a police agency—that encourages members of the community to assist law enforcement in solving crime. Crime Stoppers serves the entire metropolitan area, not just Kansas City.
As noted on the Crime Stoppers website, kccrimestoppers.com, "fear and apathy" are two factors that inhibit communities and the police as they seek to reduce crime.
AdHoc Group Against Crime
The "community hotline" number listed above is available 24/7.
The AdHoc Group Against Crime was formed in 1977 as concerned citizens came together to address the unsolved murders of nine African American women. According to the Group's website, adhocgroupkc.com, the organization "serves as a trusted bridge between the community and law enforcement to reduce violence and solve crimes in order to make our neighborhoods safe and secure."
Kansas City Police Narcotics & Vice Division
The division has an online tips form that can be submitted—that can be submitted anonymously.

COMBAT is not a law enforcement agency and no longer receives or processes crime tips. Instead, we urge you to call one of the numbers posted here or use the web links on this page. These agencies have staff trained to ask the essential questions and gather all the pertinent information, then pass it along to the right people to follow up on your tips. Do the right think. Dial one of these numbers or click on one of the links.
